  • National independent contract catering company, Catering Academy have scooped a prestigious industry award at the inaugural EDUcatering Excellence Awards.
  • Team Academy picked up the most coveted prize of the night, Contract Caterer of the Year after demonstrating to the panel an outstanding commitment to catering across the education sector.
  • The awards, which were held at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington in October, recognise companies and individuals in the catering industry who have made significant advancements in education by going above and beyond the expected.
  • Founder Directors Kevin Cannon and Louise Wymer, who collected the award on behalf of the company, said it was an honour to be recognised for the hard work their 1,000 strong team put into 'personally delivering excellence'.
  • Catering Academy operate across 50 sites in the education sector of which the contracts include; The University of Bolton, Winton School, Adams Grammar School , Tameside College,
  • Sidney Stringer Academy, Glenmoor School and William Brookes Secondary School.
